More Blog Bites!!!

~ Three more days till the first day of SPRING!!!  I am so excited!  Out come the open toed shoes and shorts!  Well...maybe too soon for the shorts.... but my boots will be shoved to the back of the closet until further notice.
~ My brother and I learned that we're not going to be getting braces!  Which is a good and bad thing.  Isaac wasn't really all that excited about braces and doesn't really care that his teeth are messed up anyway.  I, on the other hand, was more than a little bit disappointed.  If you haven't seen the condition my teeth are in ... consider your self lucky :P  It's not that they're crooked.  I am missing two 'adult' teeth.  I was just born without them.  So, fixing my mouth will be a long and not so comfortable process.  The orthodentist said that I will probably have to wait till I'm in my twenties before anything major can be done.  Ok, I'll just hang on to these two baby teeth that have been loose for about a year and a half for as long as I can, thanks.

  ^ She is too cute :) ^
~ My family has recently begun watching Winter Wipeout ... Well, we've seen two episodes.  AFN is very unreliable.  It is amazing how funny it is to watch other people try to bounce across icey water on huge rubber balls.  And fail.  Epicly.
~ So, a couple weeks ago, I went with my Venture Crew to a castle for the weekend.  It was tons of fun!  I need to pluck up the courage to type out a blog post on it.  But, you know me, I can go on for hours.  Condensing is not my forte.

~ And it's just my luck that once I move to a place where Starbucks are scarce I find a love for Starbucks. >.<
~ School has been canceled for tomorrow and I am happy :)  We are going back to that wonderful, delicous, fantastic, restaurant whose name I can't remember .... It was Italian and it was amazing.

Ciao for now!

Blog Bites

~  I woke up this morning, the sun was shining, the snow had melted and it was (and still is!) 50 degrees!!  That's warm, very very very VERY warm!  And then I think of the 'norm' in Hawaii ... 80s all year round ... I think the shock of below zero weather has changed my look on life for ever ...
~  I found a bag of Hawaiian sand that I had collected for my Mimi but forgot to send it to her.  I sat down, opened it and spent the next fifteen minutes letting it run through my fingers and trying not to cry ...
~  Thursday afternoon was spent sewing curtains for Belle's room:
They turned out quite nicely, if I do say so myself.
~  I recently watched 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' for my omnibus class.  Oh. My. Goodness. I loved it and can NOT wait to watch it again with my family when it gets in at the library.
~  I am still searching for a ballet school here near Lupburg.  If any of you know of one in my area please comment ... I am out of shape and scared to see how far gone my splits are ...
After watching the Scarlet Pimpernel I will randomly exclaim "Sink me!" in answer to some surprising news or just for the heck of it.  Those fellow Veritas Press students (or anyone who has seen the movie) will understand.  I strongly recommend the movie (the version with Ian Mckellen).
Annnd ... the random picture of the week is ...
~  Oh!  And, this morning my sister and I painted our bedroom yellow.  After a shower and much scrubbing my hands have finally returned to their natural color.  I will post pictures as soon as possible!
~The reason you all do not have pictures of my room in it's post-makeover splendor is because my camera gave up and died today.  RIP dear, unreliable, battered-up little point-and-shoot.

Getting to the Point in a Quick (and Rare) Fashion...

Blog bites: Short, concise snippets of information found on a personal webpage.  -Definition provided by 'Rachel Micaiah Lopez's mostly infallible Dictionary of the American Language'-

~  I have decided to start a new type of post that gives me license to paste lots of random thoughts together and call it a blog post.
After an 'Indian summer' with visible green grass, blue skies, and warm 40 degree weather that lasted about a week, there is, yet again, a layer of sparkling snow covering the ground.
School has officially begun again.  Last week we did some school but our schedules were so mixed up with Mom going to her "Welcome-To-Germany-You-Are-Not-In-The-States-Anymore-So-Get-Used-To-It" class during the school day.
Last Thursday afternoon was spent bowling at the bowling alley with the Club Beyond kids, eating free burgers and wearing awesome tee-shirts, drinking two sodas and then a latte ... it was a very exciting afternoon/evening :P ...
~  My sewing and craft area has been arranged in a completely neat and orderly fashion.  Now, I can not promise that it will stay that way, but ...
I am anticipating with great delight and impatience the lovely curtains and PAINT that I will be putting up in my room in the near future.  And yes, I said PAINT!  I'm so happy!!
Today I decided to go with the 'totally comfortable' look and dress in sweats and an oversized shirt.  Hey, a girl has to have comfort over fashion sometime!  But then, I think fashion was the last thing on my mind when I was walking around (in the house) wearing my ballet flats and leg warmers with my sweats rolled up to my knees ... not the look I usually go for unless I'm stretching and my sweats are in my way ... and I don't want to change  ...  I'm going to stop now ...
My mom just pulled calzones out of the oven, so I am going to go stuff my face now.  Would you all please excuse me?  'Kthanksbye.
